Project Status

The Upper Hunter Energy Park is nearing the transition from the development phase into the construction phase. The last 18 months has been a busy period for the project team on both a technical and a financial front.

From a technical perspective the team concentrated on turbine type selection and refining the layout of the turbines. Completing the studies and reports necessary to meet Conditions of Approval and gain a grid connection agreement have been important tasks closely tied to this. These activities will continue through the end of the development stage, into the construction and commissioning phase and throughout the operating life of the energy park.
